Tucked among the gently rolling vineyards, wineries depicting old world architecture, and a town known for its mineral pools and mud baths, rests the Foothill House Bed and Breakfast.

The inn is surrounded by a variety of lovely old trees and beautiful shrubbery. Each spacious guest suite is individually decorated with country antiques and four poster beds. All have private entrances and baths, small refrigerators and fireplaces. A luxurious private cottage with a two-sided fireplace, Jacuzzi tub and secluded patio provide a perfect setting for lovers.

Attention to detail is a priority of innkeepers, Doris and Gus Beckert. Doris, a former student at the California Culinary Academy, has a flair for food, both from a taste and presentation standpoint. Gourmet breakfasts and evening hors d'oeuvres reflect her talents. The Beckerts pride themselves in helping guests plan their days; whether it be a trip to a winery, a drive along the beautiful coast line, a ride in a balloon or glider, or a dinner at one of the many premier restaurants nearby.
