Albemarle Inn has graciously hosted guests for over fifty years, including the Hungarian composer Bela Bartok, who composed his Third Piano Concerto here in 1943, inspired by the mountain birdsong outside his window.

Located in a beautiful historic residential area, Albemarle Inn is a handsome Greek Revival mansion with high airy ceilings, polished oak paneling , and an exquisite carved oak stairway with unique circular landing and balcony. This distinguished inn is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Eleven spacious and comfortable guest rooms present romantic themes creating very special niches for its guests.
