Abbington Green Bed & Breakfast Inn is a lovely 1908 Colonial Revival style home in Asheville's National Register Historic District. Designed by R.S. Smith , who acted as supervising architect under Richard Morris Hunt for the Biltmore Estate. This home was transformed into an Inn by an award winning renovation in 1993.

The English atmosphere pervades the inn and grounds. Named for a town in England where the owner's family had once lived, the inn's guest rooms are also named after parks and gardens around London. Each room is a stylishly decorated with antique and reproduction furnishings, fine rugs and queen-sized canopy draped beds. Three of the inn's six fireplaces are in guest rooms.

Relaxing is easy with English style gardens to enjoy and many books (including English and garden topics) to curl up with in our spacious living room, parlor or on one of the porches and decks. Every morning a sumptuous full breakfast provides a warm welcome to the day. American and English specialties are always part of the menu. Guests from all over the world and America have enjoyed the kind of warmth and hospitality that makes them return again and again.
