The 1886, Queen Anne Victorian home is appointed now with a mix of antiques and country furnishings set against a background of marvelous original oak and cherry woodwork that liberally frames the windows and doors. The hearth around the sitting room fireplace is also cherry and decorated with ceramic tiles that the Cooks, original owners brought back from Europe.

In one of the bedrooms, you will find a matching three-piece cherry bedroom set, complemented by deep evergreen-colored carpet, matching green print wallpaper, and a rich green, peach and raspberry comforter with matching pillows. By contrast, one of the smaller sleeping rooms is bright with white eyelet bedding.

Still another has marble corner sink and fine oak furnishings. Central air-conditioning was added for extra comfort. While it all sounds elegant, the inn is casual and guests are encouraged to relax and make themselves feel at home.
