This magnificent stone meetinghouse, now affectionately known as the Old Rock Church, is nestled in the pleasant community of Providence, just outside of Logan, Utah. Construction occurred between 1869 and 1871, shortly after the first permanent European settlers arrived in 1856. A gracious Georgian wing was added in 1926. The building, including the landscaped grounds, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in recognition of its architectural and historical significance and to encourage its preservation.
