Newspapers from the New York Times of 1882 are still glued to the rafters. Marysvale was also the end of the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad line making Marysvale a railroad town as well as a miners town. During this "old west" boom days, Zane Gray stayed at the Pines Hotel and wrote "Riders of the Purple Sage" and Butch Cassidy was reported to have stayed here between exploits! Moore's Old Pine Inn sits in the center of #1 ranked Paiute ATV Trail, a 260- mile trail in the beautiful Tushar Mountains. ATV rentals are available in the area. After a relaxing day of ATVing, hiking, fishing, sightseeing or just relaxing, Moore's Old Pine Inn offers three deluxe 2-3 room suites, four rooms with two shared baths with large claw foot tubs, and two cabins located on the banks of Bullion Creek and four acres of wooded property.
