Located just two miles from Jefferson's Monticello, Michie Tavern and Ashlawn-Highlands, the Inn at Monticello is the perfect place to rest and relax after visiting the historic sites in the area. The 1850 manor house has a viriety of beautiful rooms, some with a firplace, porch or canopy bed. The comfortable elegance of the inn is enhanced by the gourmet breakfast served each morning, and the Virginia winetasting each afternoon. In the cooler months the fireplaces in the common area beakon guests to visit and relax, enjoy a cup of tea, perhaps some wine and enjoy the company of old and new friends. During the warmer mountain views and peaceful bubbling brook. The area is full of rich history and the University of Virginia is not far away.
