Elk River is located in the"Big Mountain Country" of West Virginia.Most of the mountains are above 2,000-4,000+ feet in altitude. There are fine opportunities for enjoyment of the many outdoor facillities. This year we are proud to have our 13th annual "Fat Tire Festival". It runs Aug.1-8 with enough Mountain Biking for the whole family to enjoy. Call or email for information. We are also conducting 4 Women only seminars,each will have a famous Womens rider, and finally 8/23/97 marks the day for the "Wild 100k" bike race it's alot of fun so plan on joining us for a full summer of outdoor recreation! Also you may wish to enjoy the fine dinning at "The Restuarant at Elk River", we serve a variety of foods which will satisfy everyone. There are 3 cabins,1 farm house and 5 rooms in the main buiding. We at Elk River have worked hard to provide a friendly, family type environment, so please join us this year for an exceptionaly good time!
