Tudor Bed & Breakfast Retreat, Brattleboro, Vermont

It's not for everyone, but then, our guests are among the lucky few, traveling from Europe, Asia, and South America to this lovely Tudor mansion, built in 1930. It is an architectural rarity in southern Vermont with old world craftsmanship, boasting wood paneling, brickwork, six working fireplaces, den and grand drawing room.

Fine lodging for the discriminating visitor may even afford them the luxury to occupy the entire mansion, including the private bedroom chambers of The Monet, The Renior and The Van Gogh and enjoy the feeling of our personalized and professional service during a lengthier stay. We also offer small conference rooms and support services.

Fine food is prepared by our Executive Chef, William P. Smith. Whether it's a dinner for two or reception in the drawing room-complete with a baby grand piano, or a wedding reception in our lovely gardens, replete with a fountain, pond and a brick playhouse, your occasion will be a memorable one.

Fine art lovers may find enjoyment in the customized culinary arts retreat with our Executive Chef. Or in our working artists retreats where you can savor the time of yesteryear as you find introspect into your work.
