CasaCamelinas is the perfect base from which to explore the riches of this picturesque, Spanish colonial region. It is our feeling that a bed and breakfast inn should be as much like home as possible, so the atmosphere at CasaCamelinas is intentionally informal.



If you are new to the region, you will have all the fun of seeing the city and its surrounding areas, and experiencing the many aspects of an ancient culture for the first time. Or, if you already know Morelia, come simply to rest amid sunshine and flowers in the intimacy and tranquility of our home.



We are only a mile from the city center and its focal point - La Catedral. We are convenient to many restaurants, shops cinemas and services.



The City is also surrounded by small villages famous for their individuality, beauty, and the quality of their arts and crafts. Buy hand-hammered copper at Santa Clara del Cobre, pottery at Capula, lacquerware at Patzcuaro or fine woodwork at Quiroga. If archeology is your interest, visit Tzintzuntzan. If you wish to bathe in thermal waters, take a short trip to Huandacareo.
