The Ohio River House Bed & Breakfast is a pleasant drive from Columbus, Dayton, Springfield, Indianapolis, Lexington and all surrounding communities. Our facility is situated directly on the Ohio River, in the small river town of Higginsport, just 40 miles east of Cincinnati off US 52. Our location has been described as having one of the nicest views of any establishment between Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. The "updated" 1835 built Federal Colonial features very large antique filled guest and public rooms, as well as a very lovely veranda and terrace at river’s edge for your relaxing pleasure. In addition, our "gathering room" in an adjacent building is a perfect spot for group "get-togethers". Accommodations vary in size, and all have private baths. Our spaciousness enables larger groups to enjoy the peacefulness and scenic beauty of the river valley while having private guestroom facilities.
