The North Hero House Country Inn and Restaurant is an historic bed and breakfast located in Vermont’s Lake Champlain Islands with a spectacular view of the lake, the Green Mountains and Mount Mansfield.
The 26 room inn is open year round and is ideal for vacations, weddings and conferences. Built in 1891 when guests arrived by steamship, the inn was beautifully restored in 1997, with antiques and modern conveniences required by today’s travelers. AAA has given the inn its 3 diamond rating.
Each room has a different combination of bedding, antiques, wallpaper carpeting and accessories. Many rooms have four poster beds that require a stool to climb in to the fairy tale bedding covering custom made mattresses. Private baths accompany every room and jacuzzi tubs are available. Try our comfortable Governor’s suite and enjoy a canopy bed, private sitting room and fireplace.
The North Hero House offers full dining services. Our large dining room, atrium and front porch are all available seating options to enjoy our deliciously crafted cuisine. Both the Montreal Gazette and the Burlington Free Press have praised the inn for its food and decor.
