Centrally located with country ambiance, Academy Bed & Breakfast offers three rooms in one of the oldest homes in Cheshire. This 1790 Federal home has had a number of additions over the years. The last one was done in 1987 by the current owners who strove to bring it up to today's standards and make it comfortable.

The house sits on 3 acres of land and has a large barn that has taken seven years to restore. It is only one of six barns of its design left in the country, and the only one in New England.

The West Room is the original master bedroom. It offers a Queen Bed and its own full bath. The South Room has a full bed and is immediately adjacent to the shared bath. All rooms have writing tables, telephones, and comfortable seating. The East Room, the expanded loft of the original house, has twin beds with down comforters and shares a bath with the South Room. It has views to the barn, and the orchards and fields surrounding the home.

Breakfast is served daily in the dining room or sunroom and refreshments are available in the sunroom at all times.
