Victorian Lace Inn is a charming nineteenth-century seaside summer residence, beautifully restored and currently operating as an Inn, accommodating guests from mid-February through New Year's. Located in Historic Cape May, the nations's oldest seashore resort, the Town is designated by the Department fo the Interior as a National Landmark. The ambience of late Victorian architecture is unmatched anywhere in the U.S., hoting approximately 600 quality structures. Throughout the year this small ocean city founded by Captain May in the early 1600's is alive with special events including crafts, art and antique shows. All within walking distance, a sampling of special events include Victorian Homes Mystery Weekend and workshop for potential innkeepers in March; Jazz Festival, Victorian Festival and Tulip and Garden Festivals in April; Nature and Birding and Music Festival in May; Victorian Fair in June; Antique Auto Show and Wildlife Carving and Art Show in July; Peach Festival in August; Food and Wine Festival in September: Irish Celtic Festival; Octoberfest and Victorian Week in October; Jazz Festival, Sherlock Holmes Mystery Weekend in November, and Christmas Tours and Activities throughout December.
