As you enter the massive wooden doors of The Inn, you feel you have stepped back in time to the elegant and charming ambiance of a bygone San Francisco Victorian era. High ceilings, massive woodwork, etched-glass sliding pocket doors, marble fireplaces, candles flickering on guilt-edged mirrors, forest-green walls, oriental rugs, antique furnishings, art and photographs complete the setting and the mood of this authentic Italianate Mansion.
Each of the 21 guest rooms is charmingly different - decorated with antique furniture, marble sinks and polished brass fixtures. The finishing touches include fresh flowers, candy bowls, chocolate truffles and Luxury Suites have fruit bowls.
Our inn features a luxuriant, peaceful English Garden with a public Redwood Hot Tub which guests can enjoy at any time. The Breakfast Buffet is a wonderful spread from 7 to 11 AM of the best fresh fruits, cheeses, eggs, cold cuts, home baked fruit breads and Irish Soda Bread, muffins, hot and cold cereals, quiche and delicious fresh squeezed orange juice served in our Double Parlors...or you can bring a tray to your suite, the English Garden, or on the roof-top sundeck with a full 360 degree view of the San Francisco skyline.
