Our homestead rests in the midst of 10 A of wild flower meadow and overlooks the incredible, forever-snowy Fairweather Mt. Range. Your accommodations are all private, with separate tub/showers in each room, and set back from our 8-sided cedar home. A trail leads you to our sunroom dining & snack area attached to our home. Rooms and cabins are spacious, appointed with tasteful, Alaskan artwork. Cabins include porches and kitchenettes and all have access to a picnic and bbq area. Binoculars are located in each room for viewing the wildlife (eagles, hawks, ravens, moose and occasional bear). A limited number of road bikes are free for your use to better explore the area. We pride ourselves at personalizing your Alaskan adventure! As lifelong Alaskans (and booking agents), we can give you an "insider's perspective" of the wonders of Southeast. We have an extensive supply of naturalist materials and the best wildlife videos on the market. Our Alaskan garden, with its oversized vegetables, is the mainstay of our Bush life we will give you a sample. We will meet you at the "ferry" dock or airport as you arrive and give you a short "Gustavus Special Tour"; our courtesy van will also drop you off as you leave with fond memories of this magical place.
