During extensive travels throughout the world the owners of the Ashley Inn acquired a love for the quaint, personal services of small bed and breakfasts. This intimate knowledge is culminated in this architectural treasure which has six guest rooms and a suite, all tastefully furnished with antique four poster, pencil post and canopied rice beds.

Warm hospitality and professional service is unmatched and includes assistance with personal tours, dining destinations, and all "must sees" in historic Charleston.

We have become famous for our full southern breakfast and were featured on PBS Nationally televised "Country Cooking wth Gail Greco". A typical breakfast would be Savory Sausage Pie wth Sweet Basil Eggs and Sweet Potato Biscuits, warm from the oven and served with honeybutter. The food doesn't end there. In the afternoon you'll enjoy cool cucumber tea sandwiches, and miniature napoleons while sipping a cup of hot tea. And before you go to out to one of the many wonderful restaurants Charleston has to offer, perhaps you would enjoy a cordial of complimentary Sherry.

The Ashley Inn is located in the residential section of the historic district, and is a short distance from the many historic sights Charleston has to offer. Our helpful and knowledgable staff will be happy to assist you with all of your touring and dining plans.
