A striking Victorian steeple is immediately noticed, then the Victorian porches with Eastlake style gingerbread, then the detailed brick inlays. This is a one-of-a-kind brick Victorian built in 1883 by a brickyard owner to show what could be done in brick. Extensively rebuilt and expanded in 1985, the 8 room inn with formal parlor and dining room boasts zoned air conditioning and heating, modern plumbing and electrical service, private baths, cable TV and phones/tv/wood burning fireplaces in some of the rooms. Rated *** by both Mobil and AAA, the innkeepers, Walt and Jane Johnons, take great pride in serving a full gourmet breakfast in the formal dining room or making your stay in St. Michaels exceptional!
