The non-smoking Beacon Hill B&B occupies the first three floors of a large scale six story 1869 brick row house overlooking the Charles River in the center of Boston. My private home since 1967 is ideally located in an exclusive historically preserved residential neighborhood of brick sidewalks, gas lanterns, gardens and window boxes, an easy walk to downtown, Quincy Market, the Freedom Trail and subway stops to take you to the Museum of Fine Arts and Harvard.



Each of the spacious bed-sitting rooms has a private bath, queen or double bed plus large sofa-bed and comfortable furnishings. One of them (with kitchen and separate entrance) is available weekly or monthly, priced differently. There is a portable phone with separate line as well as an elevator for luggage.



A full breakfast of homemade granola, eggs and freshly baked muffins, French toast or fruit waffles, juice and hot beverages is served in a handsome coral room furnished with antiques, a French crystal chandelier and large Oriental rug.



Parking is available in a nearby public garage.



Prices vary seasonally. Some minimum stays required except for last minute bookings on a space available basis. Deposit required. Brochure available.
