The Deer Watch Inn is a Greene County historical landmark. We extend a cordial invitation to come and relax in our centuries old farmhouse with its warm family atmosphere that has been receiving guests since the 1880's. We have 5 bedrooms and 3 large comfortable common rooms available for our visitors. The lush grounds and gardens offer spectacular views of the Catskill Mountains. Relax in a swing under a tree or on the wraparound porch overlooking the large pond where Japanese Koi put on colorful displays at their nightly feeding. On cool nights you'll find a crackling fire in the wood stove in our sun room where you can enjoy watching the wildlife graze the grounds. There's as much or little as you'd like to do. Breakfasts are a treat with homemade breads and muffins, fresh fruit and juices, delicious entrees and plenty of tea or coffee. Snuggle down into beds made the old-fashioned way with hand ironed pillowcases and crisp, line-dried sheets (weather permitting). When winter sets in, those beds are made irresistibly warm and toasty with soft, cozy flannel sheets.
