Bay Cottage on Iron Cove is located in the inner Sydney suburb of Rodd Point and offers bed and breakfast in a comfortable home environment close to the city of Sydney; 10 mins by car/30 mins by bus/ferry to the CBD.Awake to a view of the bay, a variety of bird life and rowers and runners in early morning training.Enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast in our dining room or a continental breakfast on the balcony. Explore the 'Bay' and the regional shopping centres of Birkenhead and Norton Street/Leichhardt- the latter well known for its Forum and Italian restaurants. Join us for afternoon tea downstairs or use the tea and coffee making facilities upstairs at any time. Wind down after a busy day sightseeing or shopping in the city with a leisurely walk on the 'Bay Run'- a 7 kms walking/running track around Iron Cove.Alternatively, simply relax and enjoy the view and activities of others from the balcony.In the evening dine reasonably in one of the rowing clubs 'dotted' around the bay or in a wide variety of local restaurants.
