Re: innkeeping: Help!! Innkeeping software sought

I have operated a seven room house via computer for five years and offer
the
following programs for consideration.

For a good, basic, easy to use program under DOS, I highly recommend
Inntouch by Northwest Information Management. I used this program for
several years and stopped only because I wanted a Windows format. The
program is easy to learn, does not require a lot of speed or memory and
will
give most small innkeepers everything that want. You can access and
manipulate the database with FoxPro (by Microsoft) Call Gerry at
503-476-5564 for a free demo disc.

For two great Windows programs, try Auberge, by Automated Buiness
Solutions,
and WinRoom, from Class VI Reservations. Both databases are accessible
with
Access (by Microsoft).

Auberge is clean and simple and offers many innovative features. Call Judy
at 617-837-1721 for a free demo disc.

WinRoom is similar but more powerful - and more complicated. I chose
WinRoom
because it gives you the ability to write an infinite number of form
letters
for communicating with both guests and travel agents. Call Alan at
303-678-0134 for a free demo disc, or download a copy from his Internet
site
at http://www.classvi.com/winroom.

I have tested a variety of innkeeping software and would be happy to talk
to
anyone who needs help.
