Hello,
We had two very nice young guests come for a nine day stay. Our
business is actually a fully equipped guest house which I do not live
in. I stopped by several times to chat or make sure everything was OK
and now when I see what has happened, they acted strangely, with one of
them always leaving the room. Finally, my husband heard a dog barking,
and later in the day we went in the house to tidy up, change bedding,
etc. and found urine spots everywhere and signs of other significant
"messes". Our policy is absolutely no pets. I warned them about a dog
and I thought offered a reasonable solution. The dog could sleep in the
heated garage at night, but I advised them if any damage was found, they
would have to compensate us. Later in the day they called from their
cell phone and said they were going to leave as they wanted their dog
with them. I of course offered to return "unused" funds, but they said
keep it for my trouble. Oh by the way, their credit card was declined
the first night!!. I am now keeping all the money as I discovered a
recliner, which they conveniently covered up, has been chewed up, and
will have to be replaced. Sure I have their money, but it is the abuse
of a beautiful house that disgusts me as well as abusing my trust.

Just a warning - they are headed to Maryland. Their names are Kevin K.
Wong and Michell Hight, (she is from New Zealand). I will continue to
trust my guests, as 99.9% are wonderful!! Just thought someone else
might like to know. They swore, after we caught them, that their dog,
was housebroken and never chewed--HA.

Thanks,
