innkeeping: Help a neighbor

All of us are aware of the devastation going on in Minnesota and North
Dakota with the flooding.

Laura Zahn who was at PAII IV in San Antonio sent me some information
about
her new book and included the following message. I told her I would let
the
group here know.

Any help any of you could give would be appreciated..

>FLOOD VICTIMS NEED YOUR SOAP
>
> Innkeepers can help victims of the "50-year-flood" in North Dakota
and >Minnesota by donating wrapped bars of soap, as well as other cleaning
or >personal care products.
> If you have excess soap--perhaps you've changed brands, bars are
>cracked or the paper has yellowed, or whatever--please ship it to:
> Salvatioon Army Flood Relief
> 6870 Shingle Creek Pkwy Suite 109
> Brooklyn Center, MN 55430
> call 612-561-6164 if questions
>Then drop a postcard to Laura Zahn, Down to Earth Pubns., 1032 W. Montana
Ave., >St. Paul, MN 55117 or fax 612-488-7862, and tell her what you
donated--she >will compil a list of donors.
> St this time, used soap is not being requested. Please send
supplies >as soon as possible. Any other items, such as cleaning
supplies,
toothbrushes, >toothpaste and toiletries are also welcome.
>
>Be assured the flood victims very much appreciate your help and
>thoughtfulness!!

As a flood victim three too many times all I can say is "AMEN"
I hope we can all help our "neighbors" in whatever way we can.
