innkeeping: alcohol license

How many of you innkeepers serve alcohol?  If you do, was there time
during you business that you didn't serve alcohol?  Has serving alcohol
been a benefit?  Would serving alcohol (I am talking having a glass of
wine with dinner) be a good thing?

I think it would be nice to be able to pack a bottle in an anniversary
goers picnic basket.  

B & B frequenters would you like the inn you stay at to serve wine or
maybe a beer?
