innkeeping: re: alcohol license

I think that a bottle of wine on ice in the room of honeymooners,
anniversaries, etc. would be a nice touch.  On the other hand, what are 
the
liquor laws, what would be the liabilities?

We tell guests that they are welcome to bring alcohol into the house and 
we
will furnish glasses and ice but we are not allowed to serve it.  That
seems to work best for us.
