From: nuthatch@rocky.netride.com (nuthatch) Subject: Serving alcohol In Indiana you cannot give alcohol away and cover it as part of the room rate. That is considered selling alcohol. Nor can you sell it without a very expensive (and hard to get under our quota system) license. In addition there is a federal license necessary for ANYONE ANYWHERE to serve alcohol to any paying guest. Last year our legislature tried to work something out that would cover small B&Bs without a permit or license but it all collapsed on these issues.
