Each B&B on the Island of Hawaii (the "Big Island") has recently been reclassified as 'Hotel and Resort', yet our planning dept.'s code says we must stay primarily residential. We've just received word that tomorrow, Tuesday 9/16, the county finance committee will meet to discuss our situation. However, they want to know what other states and counties treat their B&Bs as. Sooo, please email me right back, and let me know what county and state you are in, whether you are in a residential or ag area, and what your classification is.
