 ---For the purpose of county property tax our B&B is residential with a
 commercial rating.  The State of Illinois regulates B&B's relating to
 operation, tax collections, number of rooms, foods that may be served,
 and health department mandates, etc...  Hotel/Motel tax is collected and
 forwarded to the State of Illinois monthly.
 Hope this information is of some help.  I came from the state of
 Oklahoma which was just writing State rulings for B&B's.  It is a
 painful process and, thankfully, States do rely on other States for
 preconditions.
