What a bummer! This must be affecting many other businesses in your area
- can you ban together to get some help? Here in Arkansas, we were given
at least 6 months notice that our area code would be changing, and we
were supposed to have an extended 'grace' period, where the old AND new
codes would work. This was not always the case, as sometimes the old
code would work, then sometimes not. In other words, the changeover did
not go smoothly. We also found problems with out '800' number during the
changeover.

Something else we have discovered - we are not listed in 'Information'
in all states (& all the time). Our local phone co. can give us no help,
as they say they have no control over Information listings, as are all
subcontracted out to different private companies. - so much for this
wonderful de-regulation!
