I, too, found that my new business was not listed when prospective 
customers call 
directory assistance. My local long distance company had a listing for us 
but I had 
to call the major carriers (AT&T, MCI, GTE, etc) to gain inclusion onto 
their 
databases. Unbelieveable in this age of information; so much for 
de-regulation!
