Greetings to our fellow innkeepers in McMinnville, Tenn.'s namesake town
in Oregon!

A couple of years ago, a guest from Franklin, Tenn., told us, "I brought
something for the spots on your carpet." As I smiled my sweetest "thank
you" smile, I was looking around in horror for obvious spots. Turns
out, it wasn't a personal insult. The guest is the East-coast
distributor for a carpet cleaner called "Folex," and he wanted me to try
it. He claimed you could spray it on any spot, leave it a few minutes,
blot it with a paper towel, and no more spot. Believe it or not, he was
right. His bottle of Folex was a good investment, because I'm sure
we've sold a lot of it as I've sung its praises to subsequent guests.
It's available at Home Depot.
