Jen,

Before you replace any floor covering in your kitchen you might want to 
check
with your local board of health and see what they will require?

We were fortunate in dealing with our B of H and they would allow us to 
put
down a seamless no wax Armstrong floor covering. It seems to be holding up
quite well.
