innkeeping: aspiring innkeeper?

When one opens an inn and has been  in business for "one" day, they are
an "innkeeper".  Is this a correct statement?  If so wouldn't this "new
innkeeper"  have the same type of beginner questions an aspiring
innkeeper would have?  If a "first day innkeeper is not considered an
innkeeper yet, then when do they earn the title innkeeper??
