RE: innkeeping: ceiling refurbishing





We have used the wallpaper that looks like "tin ceiling".  We put it up =
over old plaster and it worked fine but I don't know how it would hold =
on acoustic tile.  I'm sure any wall covering store could suggest the =
proper adhesive to do the job.  In my opinion, it looks great and we get =
many favorable comments about it even though I haven't painted over it =
like you're supposed to do.  You can order samples from Renovator's =
Supply 800-659-2211. The price is reasonable compared to your other =
options. =20
We also have some Armstrong ceiling tile in an antique looking pattern =
that is wonderful, especially the sound deadening properties.  Of course =
it is much more expensive and would not be a do-it-yourself project for =
us.
