Innkeeping: Listing with Directories

Good Morning everybody,
Hale Makamae B & B is on the Big Island of Hawaii: 30 minutes away from
new lava flows and from the Volcanoes National Park. The area, where the
B & B is beautiful with lush vegitation, coastal parks, hot springs and
a wonderful black sand beach.

Our B & B officially just opened last November. We are part of the local
Chamber of Commerce and the B & B Association for Hawaii. Since mid July
we also have our Website and our Webmaster is also submitting our site
to the searchengines.

Business is still very sporadic and I started to list our Website with
travel directories on the internet. First of all I hit all the ones,
that are for free. However, there are so many, who charge for the
listing and some of the prices are very high.

Do you have any experience, which ones create the most referrals and are
worth the money one pays for the listing? Please write, if you have some
advice.
