Magnolia House was built in 1868 by William Pole, Jr., builder of the Lee Chapel at Washington and Lee University. This frame house is a wonderful example of American architecture with its high ceilings and spacious rooms, all of which are decorated in different period styles. In the house you will find antiques blending with pieces collected by the house owner and inn keeper on their travels throughout the world.
At Magnolia House we offer a relaxed atmosphere where guests are welcome to make themselves at home. This includes flexible times for breakfast, check in and check out.
