Recognized as one of the best small inns of the midwest, this fully air-conditioned country home in the city has been open to guests since 1985 with its heady mixture of luxury, down-home comfort, excellent food, and supreme peace and quiet.

Our one guest suite has a private bath, color TV and in-room VCR with a large selection of movies from which to choose. Thick terrycloth robes will enable you to get to the woodland whirlpool room for a soothing end to your day.

Stroll walking paths to the lake close-by where you can swim or rent a boat, or hike/bike to the Governor's Mansion or island nature conservancy. Play tennis, picnic in the park, or enjoy downtown Madison, state capital and University campus a short drive away. Cross-country ski or ice skate followed by a warm fire in the library to end you day during the winter months. Annie's is open year-round.
