Cabin At Trails End B&B, Kendall, Wisconsin
On the trail of life each person needs a place to restore his soul. Rugged natural beauty surrounds the luxurious cabin suite tucked deep in an 80 acre forest. Nature trails circle wooded hilltops and wind through lush valleys with a pond, a creek, rock out-crops and small caves.
Native ferns and wildflowers carpet the forest floor from early spring to autumn's first frost. Just beyond the garden gate are fruit trees, perennial and herb beds and flowers spilling out of window boxes.
Elusive wild turkeys and whitetail deer frequent the area. An early evening coyote chorus is a rare but enthralling event. Tiny hummingbirds, majestic bald eagles and over 100 other species of birds have been documented at the feeders and nearby trees.
Memorable breakfasts are always fresh, hearty and homemade. Special diets are never a problem.
The suite has carpeting, knotty pine walls, skylights, an open loft, vintage quilts, king bed and love seats blended with antiques. The private bath provides a sunken shower, cedar sauna and double whirlpool with a view.
A quiet place from the first stirrings of spring through fall's spectacular colors and the stillness of a winter wonderland.
