Ferg's Bavarian VillageN8599 Ferg RoadManawa, Wisconsin 54949 United States 920/596-2946 FAX: 920/596-2946 fergbvil@netnet.net (Calculated from a total of 12 ratings) Rate this Inn Ferg Haus Inn In 1912, Great Aunt Amelia and Great Uncle August Ferg , who had immigrated from Germany, built this farm house, which is now the inn, on a farm which has now been in the Ferg family for over a century and is now a Bavarian Village. The inn, with its fat feather pillows, puffy down comforters and lace-covered windows, overlooks the village which is dotted with murals, flower-filled balconies and window boxes, lush landscaped gardens, and picturesque ponds. A Bavarian gift shop (the former machine shed and hog house) featuring European imports and local crafts, Island Garten Gazebo, Wedding Chapel ( a former horse barn, now reminiscent of the St. Nikolaus Church of Oberndorf, Austria, where Silent Night was first sung to music), and Edelweiss Biergarten( a former garage) are included in the fairytale village. Those who visit during the winter holiday season will be impressed with the village's inspirational Christmas decorations and displays. Ferg's Bavarian Village welcomes visitors and guests throughout the year.
