Opened in 1897, Thousand Islands Inn remains as the last of the region's great turn of the century hotels and inns. Rooms have been recently renovated, featuring a late 1800s decor, complete with quilted bedspreads, hand made wall appointments and many antique furnishings.





The Inn's dining room, where Thousand Island Salad Dressing was introduced to the dining public, in the early 1900s, is the entire 1000 Island region's only national dining award winner, as a ten time recipient of the Gourmet Diners Society of North America's Golden Fork Award. This landmark inn's excellence in fine dining has also been recognized by Special Proclamation of the Governor's Chambers of the State of New York.





Most of all, the Inn is known for its professional and hospitable staff. It has been widely acclaimed, in newspapers and magazines around the world, as "a real winner."
