Parkview Bed and Breakfast, a Queen Anne Victorian Home, was built by August Siefert and completed in 1895. It is located one block behind Main Street in the Park St. Historic District across from City Park.
Step back in time and relive memories of a visit to Grandma's house with today's comforts. Relax on the round porch or come inside to the comfortable guest parlor. A player piano with more than seventy rolls of music, an old-fashioned record player, and board games are there for guests' enjoyment.
Four guest rooms are on the second floor. All have tray ceilings, unique to the home.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, with it's beautiful built-in buffet, between 8-9 am unless other arrangements are made. Donna, a home economist, enjoys preparing a wide variety of dishes for guests using seasonal and Wisconsin foods.
The restoration of the home has been a family project.
