Pederson Victorian Bed & Breakfast is located just three miles north of Lake Geneva -- just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. This tall, magnificent, 1880 home has "turned the heads of passers-by" for many years. You will love the white gingerbread trim, inviting porches, stained glass, stenciled woodwork, original hanging lights, tall ceilings and windows, cozy parlor, and spacious, sunny dining room where VERY full, delicious vegetarian breakfasts are served each morning. The Guest Rooms: A Pleasure . . . There are four enchanting guest rooms; three upstairs -- up in the trees, so to speak -- and one on the main floor. Rooms are cleverly furnished with lush colors and antiques from various periods. Queen beds are adorned with beautiful handmade quilt spreads designed by midwestern artisans. By the way, the upstairs bathroom has become rather famous . . . The Breakfasts: Impressive . . . We begin with freshly ground organic coffee, warm, whole-grain muffins or sweet breads and individual fruit dishes. Imaginative entrees can include berry-buttermilk pancakes or french toasts accompanied by breakfast cornbake or baked herbal eggs and cheese. Or how about "Feta Veggie Quiche" accompanied by rosemary hotbread. By the way, folks, you will never find store bought eggs here. Nope! Eggs are from free-grazing local chickens and that's why everything tastes soooooo good. The Style: Unique . . .The charm of the Victorian era blends very well with earth-care savvy. We are certain you will enjoy the fresh-air fragrance of line-dried linens (even in winter); gentle, natural shampoos, soaps and lotions, stimulating books, crisp cotton sheets, and the absence of noisy televisions, whirlpools, and chemical smells. How "udderly" refreshing! Come stay -- you'll see . . . Owner(s): Kristi K.
