In 1856 Captain Sherman, a Mississippi riverboat captain, built his boardinghouse and home next to the Mississippi, so that he could lounge on his front porch and watch the river, he loved, flow by. As our guest, we are sure you will be as captivated by the same view and the same river as Captain Sherman.

The River View B&B has been lovingly restored by Al and Kay Muller. Ten foot tall ceilings, original molding, period wallpapers and a lovely banister in the entry hall take you back in time to when Wisconsin was still a new state. Relax, leave your troubles and hectic life, come to a place where crime is nonexistent, traffic lights have never been installed or needed, and the Friday night catfish fry still exists. Watch bald eagles soar over the river from your cozy room or while eating your delicious, homemade breakfast. Ease your troubles and melt away tension in our outdoor jacuzzi while sipping on a glass of wine. Walk across the street and stroll along the river in Cassville's lovely Riverside Park.
