Snow Hill Inn, Franklin, North Carolina
Perched high above the Cowee valley on a mountain top, the Snow Hill Inn sits on twelve acres providing a restful escape for those wanting to leave the hurried pace of city life behind. The two story home no longer looks like the old Schoolhouse that it was built as in 1914. In fact, in one of the rooms, the traces of names can still be seen carved in the wall. Beautifully converted into a Bed and Breakfast three years ago, the building has taken on a new life providing guests with spectacular mountain views and a world of relaxation.
Each of the eight guest rooms has a private bath and a beautiful view. The twelve foot ceilings give an added dimension of spaciousness to all of the large rooms. The covered porch provides a vantage point overlooking the croquet and badminton on the lawn or the scenic mountains to the south. The porch, gazebo, and side deck all provide places to relax and enjoy nature.
We provide a full breakfast in the morning and an evening sweet and coffee to end your day.
