Stout Trout B&B, Springbrook, Wisconsin

On a quiet lake we offer comforts and diversions in the best Northwoods tradition. This resurrected fishing lodge (circa 1920), with its spacious grounds and private bay, sits on 40 acres neighboring rolling farmland and large tracts of public forests. It is the perfect destination for those who are traveling, seeking active outdoor sports, or just need a peaceful place to relax.

The decor is informal, relaxed, and reflects our interest in nature. The wood plank floors echo the past; big windows and comfortable furnishings enhance the present. Enjoy the natural setting from the living room, the deck, or the hammock in the oak trees. Experience it by walking in the adjacent forests or riding one of our bicycles along the country lanes. Depending on the season, you can wake up to the cry of loons, watch deer walk through the yard, view otters and beavers in the marshes and witness flights of waterfowl, eagles, osprey, and the many types of birds that inhabit the region. Fishing is good and the boating is quiet (guests are welcome to use our boats).

In order not to interfere with your plans, we serve breakfast at the time of your choosing.
