Enjoy the simplicity of country living along with small town atmosphere. Built in 1904 by Scandinavian immigrants, THE FARM continued as the family's dairy operation until 1993. Presently, the land is being utilized for growing crops and grazing livestock.
Stroll through the stable, hike the 200 acres of fields and woodlands, or walk/bike the four blocks to browse through downtown Birchwood featuring unique gift shops, a variety of stores, restaurants, and an ice cream parlor. The tiny town of Birchwood (Pop. 400) boasts of its own high school (110 students), public boat landing, park, Bluegill festival and Polkafest. Numerous lakes attract many visitors to the area.
