Buckswood Bed and Breakfast is an 1814 country home in the small village of Orwell, located in the Champlain Valley. We offer what we believe is a true Vermont experience - comfort, relaxation and hospitality. Our home has comfortable rooms with private baths, living areas for relaxing in front of the fireplace on a winter's night, a kitchen where you can always find lively conversation. We try to provide the atmosphere and hospitality to make you feel like friends rather than guests.
The surrounding area has dirt roads for biking and walking, lakes for fishing and swimming, fields for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. A short distance by car gives you a wide variety of shops, theaters, downhill skiing, golf, historic sites and restaurants for any palate.
Whether you stay with us because you are on business or vacation, we will do everything we can to make your visit a pleasurable one. We serve a full hot, hearty breakfast to start your day off right. Dinner is by prior reservation. A brochure is available by request.
