Open Year Round. Misty Mountain Inn is a Victorian farm house renovated in 1993 to provide four spacious quest rooms with queen-sized bed. Furnished with fine antiques, each has private bath and fireplace; three have balconies. Complimentary breakfast is available until noon for Inn guests. Our Basset prefers that other pets not stay in the Inn. However, they are welcome in any of the six mountainside cottages in the woods that surround the Inn, its three ponds and picnic area. All cottages have private porch, fireplace, queen-sized bed, full bath, air-conditioning and heat. Eat-in kitchens include coffeemaker and toaster and are equipped with dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and basic utensils. Charcoal grills are on each porch and in the picnic area so you can cook-out with friends. Wood is provided for the fireplace. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper are in each kitchen. Other supplies can be found at the country store down the road or can be in your cottage by special arrangement. Personal laundry service is offered by special arrangement. 2 hours to Atlanta, Chattanooga, Asheville ... 1 hour to Ocoee & Chattooga Whitewater ... minutes to trout fishing, riding stable, golf course, hiking trails, boating & beaches.
