Timberlings Bed & Breakfast, Palmer, Alaska
Palmer Alaska Bed and Breakfast near Knik and Matanuska Glaciers
This log house on over 150 wooded acres surrounded by the Chugach and Talkeetna mountains, is located about an hour from Alaska's largest city. The panoramic view offers everything but other habitations. Stay a few days, taking day trips to some of the best Alaska has to offer in scenic beauty, adventures, or shopping.
Since 1968, Buz and Alma Blum have been living here and supporting themselves as craftsmen. Buz is an award-winning bowl turner. Alma is a spinner, weaver, and potter. In May she shears their Alpacas and spins their luxurious fiber. Their farm currently has a dog, champion Nubian goats, Alpacas, and exotic birds.
You will be their exclusive guests. The guest room has an antique double bed, a built-in bunk, TV, VCR, and an extensive library of Alaskan books for use during your stay.
A Timberlings breakfast is a celebration. Menus include puff pancakes, wild berry sauces, homemade jams, fresh fruit, juices, and freshly ground coffee.
This unique experience will become the focal point of your memories of Alaska and its friendly people. Be sure to reserve space early. With but one room, vacancies quickly disappear.
